AFC gates of Huda Metro station stopped working due to crowding today

NEW DELHI: A large number of passengers faced a huge problem on July 16, Monday those were about to get out from Huda City Metro station. This incident took place when automatic Fare Collection (AFC) gate stopped to working.
The yellow line station is the busiest station that caters around nine lakh passengers. it connects from Samaypur Badli (North Delhi) to Gurugram (Haryana). On Monday, AFC gates of Huda City Metro station were closed for nine minutes (11:12 AM to 11;21 AM) due to sudden miniature circuit breaker trip. Passengers those use token, were manually facilitated for exit where smart card users were facilitated from one wide AFC gates which was functional. "This led to overcrowding at the station," the Delhi Metro Rail Corp (DMRC) said in a statement
