New Delhi: The Arvind Kejriwal-led metropolis government is ready to launch Associate in Nursing anti-corruption app which can flip your smartphone into a handy spy cam to conduct sting operations on officers rigorous bribes, sources same.
Sources same that the app, possible to be launched next week by the chief minister, can directly transfer any recording done through it onto a government server to that it ' ll be joined.
The launch of the smartphone application could be a part of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government’s efforts to revamp Associate in nursing anti-corruption helpline it had launched throughout its earlier 49-day stint.
According to a senior government official, whereas individuals were ready to conduct sting operations on their own and send the recordings to the helpline for action, several complained they were caught whereas picture taking acts of felony and lost the recordings as their phones were taken. The app would watch out of this concern as recordings would be directly transferred to the govt. server.
“Even if individuals are caught conducting a con game exploitation our app, the recording are going to be safe because it can get transferred to the govt. server, which can be monitored by the anti-corruption branch,” same a senior government official.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, United Nations agency heads the vigilance department; told YM that employee’s strength would be boosted to make sure a lot of anti-corruption raids.
“Apart from the present helpline, we are going to North American nation technology-oriented services to make sure individuals will send their complaints to us,” he said.
In AAP’s earlier stint, the anti-corruption helpline (011-27357169) received 10,000 calls on a median on a daily basis following that the govt. launched another four-digit helpline (1031) wherever individuals may send recordings of sting operations conducted by them.
