70 Indian sailors fallen in Yemen, Govt. takes action relief plan

External affairs minister spokesperson Vikas Swarup said in Delhi that India government is taking steps to safe exhaustion of its nationals from Yemen after sailors’ group pretense. As it is known that at least 72 seamen that belong to Gujarat were fallen in the war- sacked county. At least 70 sailors from the coastal village of Mandavi in Kutch and from Jodiya and Salaya villages of Jamnagar were fallen for over 15 days now at Khokha port in Yemen where they had gone to deliver cargo in five boats. The sailors’ group appealed to the government to relief them. Around six Indians from Gujarat were died while their boat came under Saudi-led air strikes in the Arab country, which is reeling due to a civil war. Shia Houthi rebels and supporters of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh are fighting against forces loyal to President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi. External Affairs Minister said on Saturday that  our officers are taking action to save  or shift sailors group  to safer place . The sailors are suffering from critical condition these days . Sikandar who belong to Khokha in India said in their message that we are 70 Indians fallen here along with five ships. Yemen have been bombarding us with warplanes. Please co-operate us. We are suffering from critical condition these days. They will kill us. Please save us. The external affairs ministry had said on Friday that six Indians were killed after their boat came under Saudi-led air strikes in Yemen on September 8. The died were among seven Indian nationals who were beginning reported missing when two boats, ' Mustafa ' and ' Asmar ' carrying a total of 21 Indian nationals came under aerial attack. The ministry had said that of the remaining 15 Indians, 14 were safe in Hodeidah while one person was still missing.
