4.6, 4.3 magnitude Earthquakes shake Himachal Pradesh today

NEW DELHI: Two magnitude earthquakes-4.6 and 4.3 in Kullu region of Himachal Pradesh state on Saturday morning jolted at least 20 minutes.
According to National Centre of Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences, the first quake measuring 4.6 on Richter scale which took place at 6.44 am at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The second quake measured 4.3 at Richter scale which took place at 7.05 am at the same depth. But it is good news for people that there was no any information of loss life or damage to property.
Although, Himalayan belt of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are known as earthquake-prone regions in the world.
