WB: TMC leader Subodh Pramanik arrested for keeping opium and bombs

Kolkata: A massive shame can bring high tenseness for West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee ahead of the Bengal Assembly elections, TMC leader Subodh Pramanik was on Tuesday arrested by Narcotics Department in Malda for keeping of opium along with bombs. The value of the opium is around Rs 3 crore.
The opium was seized after officials sealed Pramanik’s house at Sabdalpur village of Bakhrabad gram panchayat in Baishnabnagar police station in Malda district. According to report, livebombs and firearms were also found from the TMC leader ' s residence. The Malda SP has confirmed that two persons have been arrested by the narcotics department.
