WB government to launch app for businessman & investors

WEST BENGAL:The West Bengal government has launched App that will help bring together academia, investors along with budding businessman as part of the beginning action plan. The WB government is attempting to introduce beginning action plan in partnership with the private sector and has requested Nasscom to offer its expertise and assistance.
Although , state IT secretary Tallen Kumar said with Nasscom at an interactive session that it will take some time before the citizens services app becomes available for the public. The government already has the e-district facility including 27 services are available online, Kumar said.
IT Minister Bratya Basu said around seven IT parks are close completion and are hopped to be completed by this fiscal creating job opportunity for 20,000 IT professionals.
Nasscom Products Conclave is expressed to be held in city on July 15,2016 in which a lot of IT leaders are expected to participate in the event.
Nasscom eastern region chairman Kamal Agarwala said the IT body has undertaken a pilot project to offer final year engineering students one year internship with IT companies for to make them industry ready.
