Swati Maliwal again joins in DCW office in Delhi

NEW DELHI: The new Delhi women panel ' s chief Swati Maliwal, whose appointment had  been rejected by Delhi ' s LG, has joined at DCW office in Delhi at the present time. "Kyu DCW office ne hamari name plates hatayi? Files le lia aur office na aane ko kyo kaha?, Maliwal said on Thursday morning. This after LG ' s office refused that they had made any call to the DCW office asking to keep Swati Maliwal away from office. "What was reason to lie with me by DCW office that there was a call from LG ' s office?", Maliwal arose the query. Maliwal further said that she has been trying to seek time to meet LG for the last three days. Maliwal complained she got a call from the LG ' s office, asking her not to go to DCW on Thursday. In a statement, she said all files were being taken away. She complained in another statement that DCW would have instituted an investigation into the murder of Meenakshi at Anand Parbat on Thursday and the police would have been asked to give details of all women who have complained about sexual molestation. However, the LG ' s office refused it late in the night had made any call to Maliwal. Today I am searching time from him to know what the truth is. I hope he gives me time," she said. Late in the evening on Wednesday, Maliwal claimed she got a call from the LG ' s office, asking her not to go to DCW on Thursday. In a tweet, she said all files were being taken away. She claimed in another tweet that DCW would have instituted an inquiry into the murder of Meenakshi at Anand Parbat on Thursday and the police would have been asked to give details of all women who have complained about sexual molestation.
