Student’s kidney damages after ragging in Kottayam Government Polytechnic College

NEW DELHI: One side mostly colleges commit that there is no any ragging kind of devil allowed in the campus but ragging victims are found every year, recently one more case came in Polytechnic College, where a first year student of the Government Polytechnic College in Kottayam has been hospitalised with kidney damage due to brutally ragged by eight senior students. According to the cop the student has been admitted to a hospital in Thrissur, seniors forced the victim student to take liquor with some harmful powder as well as hard exercises like push-ups. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy visited hospital in Thrissur where student is hospitalized and urged the government to bear the expenses of the student ' s treatment. We are human being and we must take ragging as a crime and punishment should be hard for accused.
