SP chief Mulayam contest against Akhilesh over ‘Cycle ‘symbol

NEW DELHI: Samajwadi party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said on Monday that he will fight against Akhilesh in the upcoming assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, if Akhilesh does not accept my statement.
SP supremo Mulayam said on Monday during addressing a press conference, "Akhilesh has damaged the party to turn the Muslim."
' ' I am trying my best to save the party along with ‘cycle’ symbol, and if Akhilesh doesn ' t hear my matter then I will fight surely against him, ' ' he said.
The remarks from the SP veteran came at a time when the Election Commission is likely to announce its decision to settle dispute in Samajwadi Party over control its election
symbol, ' cycle ' .
SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav have been asserting their respective claims over the party ' s election symbol.
According to the reports, SP general secretary Amar Singh – a key figure in the regular controversy between the father and the son – had left for London for two and a half months.
In a terse statement before departure, Singh said that he was "undergoing treatment in London but was summoned due to the developments here, now going back to complete my treatment".
