NEW DELHI: The Congress President Sonia Gandhi will address two rallies, Gaya and Bhagalpur in the of Bihar today.
The Congress President Ms Gandhi’s rallies at Kahalgaon in Bhagalpur and Wajirganj in Gaya of Bihar will be the first step of Congress rallies since the five-phased assembly elections were declared.
Ms Gandhi is hopped to address the first rally at Kahalgaon near Bhagalpur. Assembly election will be held Bhagalpur in the first phase on October 12.
After ending of this rally, Ms Gandhi went to Birgunj near Gaya by flight where he addresses to people. In Birgunj , Assembly election will be held in the second phase on October 16.
According to the reference, both Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) former chief minister Lalu Prasad yadav and recent Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are probable to take part the dais with Ms Gandhi.
Bhartiya Janta Party President Amit Shah will also address a rally in Purnia today, where assembly election polls will be held on November 5.
BJP president Amit shah also targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar including the Congress-RJD-JD(U) Mahagathbandhan expressing that the state government had not completed promises who promised before the last election.
Last month, in his first rally in Bihar, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had took on PM Modi, alleging that he only met people wearing ‘suits and boots’ and has stopped talking to the country’s poor.
Mr Gandhi also said that the Prime Minister had promised to bring back unaccounted wealth or ‘black money’ of the rich, stashed away in foreign bank accounts, but that hasn’t happened.
