Ramdev Declines Padma Vibhushan Award

Yog guru Baba Ramdev has refused to accept the Padma Award. Ramdev refused to accept the award by writing letter to Home Ministry. Also, Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had also refused to accept award. According to the Central Government report, on the 66th Republic Day government will be considering to give Padma awards to yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and few more people. Baba Ramdev has written letter to Home Minister Rajnath Singh and request him to consider the name of some other person for the award. He does not want respect and awards, he writes in the letter. Ramdev said, I got through the media that government wants to give award Padma Vibhushan to me. He thanks the Central Government for considering his name for award. Ramdev said that, he is a monk and he want to fulfill his love for country and for the humanity without his any desire. And he want to retire as monk in his life.
