PM Modi US LIVE: to meet Obama at White House today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday arrived in the US from Switzerland on the fourth leg of his five-nation tour. PM Modi will hold talks with US President Barack Obama to review two sided ties and address a joint session of the US Congress. PM Modi and US President Barack Obama both of them will meet at the White House in Washington today , where he paid tributes to Indian-American astronaut late Kalpana Chawla at Arlington National Cemetery. He had interacted with the husband and family members of Chawla, senior officials from NASA, Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams including her father at Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial. National Security Adviser along with Foreign Secretary were present during working lunch which has been hosted by President Obama for PM Modi Both the country, India-US has issued a joint statement after Obama and PM Modi interaction. Jean-Pierre Harrison who is husband of Kalpana Chawla , gifted two biographies on Kalpana Chawla to PM Modi US ' Ambassador to India Richard Verma and Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Nisha Biswal were also present during welcome Prime Minister Modi.
