PM Modi arrives in Brussels to appear India-EU conference

Brussels: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will appear the 13th India-EU conference in Brussels capital of Belgium. He will also hold two sided interacts with his Belgian counterpart named Charles Michel.
PM Modi arrived in Brussels on Wednesday, just days after it was rocked by terror attack in which more than 32 people were killed and at least 100 people have been injured. He will also go to the US along with Saudi Arabia as part of his three-nation visit. "An invigorating mix of bilateral & multilateral diplomacy in the offing as PM @narendramodi departs on 3 nation tour," MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup had said on Tuesday after PM Modi departed from New Delhi. In Brussels, the PM is also expected to ink various agreements with EU member nations. PM Modi will also meet the Members of European Parliament, Indologists, Belgian CEOs as well as a wide cross section of the Indian diaspora in Belgium. He would also interact with the Board Members of the Association of Diamond Traders in Belgium. In the evening, he will address a community programme and talks with the Indian diaspora. PM Modi said the India-EU conversation will advance multi-faceted engagement across a whole range of sectors and described the 28-member European Union as a "vital trading partner"
