Two Pilots killed after aircraft bumps near MP-MH border today

NEW DELHI: On Wednesday,  two-seater trainee aircraft bumped in the forest near the Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra border, in which two trainee pilots including a woman from the Maharashtra ' s national flying institute died. The aircraft hit a live electrical wire during a low flying in maoist-infested Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh.
The incident occurred at around 10 am on Wednesday at least 70 km from the Balaghat district headquarters. After hitting the wire, the pilots lost their control over the aircraft. DGCA has ordered to probe for the incident. "We have sent our team to the spot. Initially, it seems that the chopper got tangled with a live wire during a low flying," said G Janardhan, IG Balaghat.
