Mulayam Singh Yadav rejects Shivpal's offer to step down as party state president

NEW DELHI: According to the source, Samajwadi Party state unit chief Shivpal Yadav has resigned from the post. However, as per reports, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav rejects Shivpal ' s offer to resignation as party state president. SP Shivpal and Akhilesh have been competing with each other over candidates list in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections that is going in 2017.
According to sources, the resignation has yet not been accepted by Mulayam Singh Yadav. Before some days, Mulayam Singh Yadav removed his orders of expelling Akhilesh Yadav along with Ramgopal Yadav for six years. Shivpal said in statement, “I am coming after having met party Chief Mulayam Singh along with CM Akhilesh Yadav. Netaji has given the order that the suspension orders of Akhilesh and Ram Gopal are terminated with immediate effect.” SP supremo Mulayam had expelled his son Akhilesh and Ramgopal from SP for six years after they put up candidates against the official nominees.
