Mini truck crashes with bus in Andhra Pradesh; 15 killed, 21 injured

Hyderabad:- 15 people with 3 children died today and at least 21 others injured while a mini truck carrying a marriage party crashed with a bus near Kandukur town in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. Police said a mini truck carrying a marriage party coming from Kandukur crashed with the bus. The bus was coming from the opposite direction.   “All 15 people died on the spot those were sitting in mini truck. The bus caught fire after the crashing. The driver and his assistant fled from there. There were no passengers in the bus. The injured person was sent to hospital for remedy in Ongole,” Police Inspector (Kandukur) Lakshman said. The mini truck was carrying more than 40 passengers. Fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.
