The God Ganesha festival is an important festival of Hindus. It is celebrated all around in India but particularly it has more importance in Maharashtra .A large numbers of people collect near God Ganesha temple. Devotees of God Ganesha worship with flowers and sweets there. They celebrate it as a God Ganesh birthday every year in the month of Bhadra, it lasts for 10 days, ending on the tenth day which is called Ananta Chaturdashi. As it is said that Lord Ganesha is a destroyer of obstacles. This festival comes every year in Hindi Bhadra on September 17. Devotees bring statue of Lord Ganesha with great excitement from different places and decorated it on platform. Lord Ganesha festival is celebrating in India today on September 17,2015 with very happy.The children ,old men including youth are celebrating to wear newly dress and ladies to wear ornaments. All of them are taking interest of this festival. The idol is submerged in the sea, river or even a token dip in a bucket. The final visarjan day sees Mumbai criss-crossed by throngs of worshippers trailing their idols to the shore. In Mumbai ' s satellite city, Pune, a clutch of pandals and temples celebrate the festival, the most famous being the Dagdu Sheth temple.
