LIVE: Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim sentenced to 10 years in Jail

NEW DELHI: Dera Sacha Sauda Chief and Self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was on Monday, August 28 sentenced to 10 years jail in Sunaria of Rohtak for rapping with his two disciples (women) in 2002.
He had molested with several followers but two of them have blamed. Justice Jagdeep Singh, who was flown in to Rohtak by helicopter , pronounced the verdict The court has also fined of Rs 65,000 on the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim.
Authorities are on high alert in Punjab and Haryana state before pronouncing the verdict against Guru Ram Rahim.
Schools and colleges of both states Haryana and Punjab had been closed and Mobile services also suspended before the hearing the verdict against Dera Sacha Sauda chief.
