Law student chopped body found: Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: In an incident, a young girl named Gauri Srivastava was found murdered and chopped into pieces, and her body parts were thrown on Sahid Path in Lucknow on Monday night.
The victim ' s limbs, head, torso and abdomen were dumped separately. The crime came to light when local residents found stray dogs smelling a gunny bag in which the body parts were wrapped.
A resident of Vrindavan Colony said, "I was returning from my office when I noticed the blood-soaked limb. I called the police."
The police recovered another gunny bag about 300 metres from the first spot. Police inspector Sanjay Sharma of PGI police station told, "The hands and the head of the victim were found in the bag. The torso was found a few metres away from that spot."

Gauri was a law student at the Ambedkar Law University and a resident of Aminabad.
He said that, "Gauri ' s father identified her and informed us that she was missing since Monday evening, and her phone was switched off. We are trying to nab the culprits," Sharma said. "The body parts have been sent for postmortem."
The victim ' s mother said, "My daughter was receiving threat calls for the past few days. If the police work hard, they can crack the case.
