UP Joint Entrance Examination 2018: Application process starts at Jeecup.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has started the application process for UPJEE Polytechnic Exam 2018. The entrance examination will be conducted for admission to Diploma/Polytechnic courses in the Polytechnics or Diploma colleges/Institutes which is affiliated with Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. The Joint Entrance Examination is conducted every year by Board of Technical Education (BTE) for those students who have completed the 10th or 12th criteria and want to get admission in Polytechnic/Diploma Colleges or Institutions for diploma engineering courses. A huge number of students appear in the exam every year and after getting good scores, they get admission easily in Polytechnic Colleges in any states, because each state conducts JEE exam every year. Some essential information has been maintained below: Application Form: The candidates can get the application form through the official JEECUP website - www.jeecup.nic.in. Aadhaar has been mandatory during the application process. The JEE exam will be conducted separately for Engineering and technology Diploma/polytechnic courses. Date of Exam: The exam will be conducted on April 22, 2018. The examination to be conducted in two shifts. Exam timing and shift: The exam for first shift  (Engineering/Technology Diploma courses) will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm while, the exam for second shift (all other courses) will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Application fee: The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 300 and bank charges. The application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 200 and bank charges. Mode: The examination will be conducted in the offline mode. There will be one paper for each group having 100 objective type questions. Admit Card: The admit cards for the exam will be available on the website for download from the 2nd week of April.
