Indo-Pak meeting: Sushma Swaraj’s meeting with Nawaz Sharif, Sartaj Aziz today

Islamabad: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj dinner hosted by the Pakistan Prime Minister’s adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz after arriving in Pakistan on Tuesday and he warmly greeted her.
Sushma Swaraj said in Islamabad, the relationship between India and Pakistan should be better and that she will concern to find ways to improve bilateral ties. “I have come with the message that ties between the two countries should be good and move forward,” Swaraj said after her arrival in Pakistan’s capital to take part in the ‘Heart of Asia’ meet on Afghanistan. Sushma Swaraj will attend meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister ' s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Wednesday. Aziz said in meeting with Swaraj, “My expectations are good and positive from talks.” The Union Minister ' s visit comes after talks between the National Security Advisors of India and Pakistan in Bangkok on Sunday, where they argued  terrorism, Jammu and Kashmir and a range of key bilateral issues apart from agreeing to carry forward the "constructive" engagement. Swaraj is expected to take this process forward during her talks with Aziz. She is also expected to call on Sharif on the sidelines of the conference today. The high-ranking delegations from 14 participating states, 17 supporting countries and 12 international and regional organisations are participating in the two-day conference. Swaraj’s visit is being seen as the first significant engagement between the two sides since the meeting between Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in the Russian city of Ufa in July. It is also the first visit by an Indian foreign minister to Pakistan since 2012.
