DU: Four students arrested for robbing delivery boy

NEW DELHI: Four Delhi University students, who wanted to live a “lavish” life-style, be given been arrested for allegedly robbing a deliver boy of an expensive phone in northwest Delhi’s Swaroop Nagar location, police said on today. The 4 accused have been student of BSc and BA course at the same college and have become friends a few months in ago, police said. The sufferer, Selvin, told the police that the accused had ordered a Smartphone worth Rs 26,000 and when he reached to deliver the order on the mentioned address, two people took him to an alone plot close by, saying they were friends of the being who had placed the order and were fetching him to the customer. Selvin, who had developed fearful with the aid of then, acclaimed the amount in their bike as he went with them. After reaching the spot, they thrashed him and snatched the packets he become carrying for delivery, police said. An FIR was registered and the accused, who were aspiring to have a “lavish” life-style, were later identified and arrested, police said.
