Diwali is the festival of light. This festival comes every year in the Hindi month of Kartik, Amavasaya. Diwali festival is celebrated everywhere in India. Hindus in some regions of India associate Diwali with the legend of Yama and Nachiketa on Kartika amavasya. King Harsha in the 7th century Sanskrit plays Nagananda mentions Deepavali as Deepapratipadutsava. Oil lamps decorating homes, streets and markets in the night. All people including children enjoy with crackers and worship to Goddess Lakshmi and God Ganesh.
They worship them with flowers, agarbatti, and sweets. They burn lamps, candles and decorate their house. They present gift to each other on the occasion of Diwali.
