Around more than 45 people were wounded in case of derailing of six coaches the Chennai-Mangalore Express in Tamil Nadu on Friday . this accident that occurred near Virudhachalam, about 230km south of Chennai.
The wounded persons were sent to Virudhachalam government hospital for treatment .
Special buses were organized for passengers travelling to Trichy and Salem. The train later began its onward journey after the derailed bogies were detached.
These are third in just about a month; once again put the spotlight on railway safety.
