NEW DELHI: The Centre government on Tuesday joked on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ' s claim that the CBI squad which searched the offices of his principal secretary named Rajendra Kumar was actually looking for files pertaining to an investigation he opened against  irregularities in Delhi District and Cricket Association when it was headed by finance minister Arun Jaitley.
Dismissing Kejriwal ' s affirmation as "laughable", a senior government source said that the Delhi government has no posses over DDCA. Only a politician with authoritarian mindset can claim to have competence to investigate affairs of companies," said a senior government officer. He also said the Delhi government does not have the power to set up a probe commission as provided under the Commission of Inquiries Act. "He has got a shivers mind which is either involved in stealth or is busy inventing stealth theories," said the officer.
