UP CM Yogi Adityanath directs builders to handover flats in 3 months

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on September 13 (Wednesday) directed builders to hand over at least 50,000 flats of the Noida area to customers in next three months otherwise action will be taken against him if they do not accept this order. He also directed officials of Noida, Greater Noida and YEIDA to get a detailed audit done of these real estate firms to trace the utilisation of the money that builders had collected from the buyers.
The decision has been taken in a meeting at CM’s office in the presence of Urban Development Minister Suresh Khanna, Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana and Minister of State (Industrial Development) Suresh Rana. Besides it, chairman and CEOs of Noida, Greater Noida and YEIDA were present in the meeting. Representatives of various real estate firms, including Unitech, Jaypee, Amprapali and Wave, were also present in the meeting. The Uttar Pradesh government had organized a committee of these three ministers to meet the buyers and builders, listen to their grievances and submit a report for their redressal. The committee of ministers had visited Greater Noida last month and had met over 700 buyers.
