NEW DELHI: Lunar eclipse (Chandra Grahan) will take place in India on January 31 (Wednesday) with a blue moon. The timing of this lunar eclipse will take place from 17:58:00 that will end at 20:41:10.
Especially, this lunar eclipse starts during the moonrise and lasts for 02 Hours 43 Minutes and 10 Seconds. As it is a total eclipse of magnitude 1.32, the Moon will be completely covered by the Earth ' s Umbral shadow at maximum eclipse.
The portion of the moon inside the Umbral shadow will only be equipped by sunlight refracted through the Earth ' s atmosphere and has a reddish color.
The Lunar Eclipse would be visible from Asia, most of Europe, Australia, North-East Africa, North-West South America, North America, Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific, Arctic, and Antarctica.

- Do not sleep during the eclipse.
- Do not eat anything during the eclipse.
- Avoid oil bath should be taken during the eclipse.
- Avoid driving a vehicle during the eclipse.
- Female should not tighten hair clip or Sari clip.
- A pregnant lady should not cut vegetables or use a knife.
