PATNA: Bihar School Examination Board has declared class 10th results 2016, Matric results, on Sunday,29 May at 3 pm . Candidates who appeared for the class 10th examinations will be able to check their results on official website: biharboard.ac.in / biharboard.bih.nic.in. The Class 10th / Matric examinations were conducted by the BSEB from 11th March till 18th March 2016. In which, around a lakhs of students have appeared at various exam centres across the state. At least  50 percent of the candidates  appearing in the class 10 exams conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board failed with the pass percentage only 44.66 About 15.73 lakh students appeared in the exams this year. According to board officials, only 10.86 percent students passed with first division, 25.46 percent a second division and 10.32 percent students passed with third division. Interestingly, 42 students, who figure in the top 10 rank list of the class 10 exams belong to the one school - the Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya in Maoists-affected Jamui district. Several examinees there scored the same number of aggregate marks to make it to the elite list. A senior official of the board told IANS that only 44.66 percent pass rate vindicated their bid to conduct a cheating-free exam this time. "We have successfully conducted a cheating free exams that resulted in drastic fall in pass percentage of students." Download your result for further reference About the Board: The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board. Normally every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government. Apart from the aforesaid Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government.   We wish all the best to the students.
