NEW DELHI: German automobile company Audi has launched its new Audi Q5 2018 version on December 18 (Thursday) in India with a price of Rs.53.23 lakh for ex-showroom. The new Audi Q5 vehicle which is based on Volkswagens’ MLB Evo platform that supports most of the large SUVs of the group, including Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga, the recently launched Lamborghini Urus, upcoming Porsche Cayenne among many others. The new Q5 car is wider and longer than it’s previous that provides a new face to customers which looks suggestive of the larger Q7. Features: Some features of the Audi Q5 have been given following: The company’s popular ‘Virtual Cockpit’ instrument cluster comes within the beast with a Bang & Olufsen infotainment system, along with an 8.3-inch floating infotainment screen at top of the centre console. The new Audi engine has the power to contain a 2.0-litre diesel that produces 190PS of power and 400Nm of peak torque distributed among all the four wheels. The Audi Q5 car comes with eight airbags, including the rear airbags. The SUV comes in competition with Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Range Rover Evoque.
