Anushka Sharma to get Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for her contribution

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma will be awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for her path-breaking movies. The Sultan actress has been regarded as one of the few producers in the film industry to break grounds through her films. Indian Bollywood actress and film producer Anushka sharma, as well as her brother Karnesh Sharma, has produced the several movies in different styles like NH-10, Phillauri and Pari.
The Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress Anushka became the youngest producer in B-town when she ventured into production with the film NH10 in 2015. The film NH10 directed by Navdeep Singh had been released on March 13, 2015 that blazed as one of the sleeper hits of the year. So, according to a report, the Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation has decided to confer the prestigious award to Bollywood actress Anushka  as a Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for her path-breaking movies including contribution to the film-industry and experimenting with newer ideas as a producer. Currently, 29-year-old Actress Sharma  is busy with the shooting of two much-awaited films, Sui Dhaaga and Zero. The film Sui Dhaaga directed by Sharat Katariya which also stars Varun Dhawan will hit the silver screens on September 28. The Bollywood actress Diva will also be part of Shah Rukh Khan for the film Zero, which is  to be release on December 21.
