Actress A.R Bachchan bought luxury apartment in Bandra-Kurla for Rs 21 crore

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is wife of actor Abhishek Bachchan has bought a luxury apartment that is spread over around 5,500 sq ft at a residential complex in Bandra-Kurla Complex for Rs 21 crore, according to two persons familiar statement with the development. "The deal was registered last week. five-bedrooms are including in this   apartment," said one of the persons. The actress has bought the sprawling apartment in Signia Isles property, which is part of three-tower complex of Sunteck Realty, in the commercial district. The deal values the place around Rs 38,000 per sq ft. The complex has three towers Signature Island, Signia Isles and Signia Pearl. At the present, actress Sonam Kapoor bought an apartment that is spread over 7,000 sq ft DUPLEX APARTMENT in Signature Island in the same complex for over Rs 35 crore. This is the same apartment where billionaire and bankerUday Kotak had bought an apartment a few months ago. While the actress could not be reached, representative of Sunteck Realty declined to comment for the story. According to report that former CITI Group head Vikram Pandit and Gunit Chadha, Deutsche Bank co-chief executive officer of Asia/Pacific had bought apartments in the same building in G Block of Bandra-Kurla Complex in 2013. It was also reported that Uday Kotak, executive vice-chairman and managing director of Kotak Mahindra Bank BSE 0.29 % has also booked an 11,000 sq ft flat in the building at Rs 55,000 per sq ft.
